Reliability of Astrological Predictions

Each Person has different opinion whether to believe in Astrology or not. Some call Astrology as Pseudo Science.

The word “Astrology” splits into Astros = Star and logos = study. Literally says Study of Stars or Constellations in the sky. It is simply the study of planets assumed to be posited in the direction of particular star constellation in specific Zodiac sign at the time of our birth in the form of Horoscope (Birth-Chart).

I am going to give you a brief on why to consider Astrology and its importance on our day-to-day lives.

As we are aware that the types of energies which influence us – Gravitational, Electro-magnetic, Sound, Chemical, Nuclear, etc., which are invisible and has profound impact on our physical bodies.

Similarly, the light reflection in the form of waves from planets which are getting bombardment from stars plays a major role on our 3D world especially in planetary transit.

Some people may scoff or mock on this theory of how planets rule our life and we as an individual has no control on our lives. This is where Karma comes. It may be silly to think but it’s true. There are lots of explanations or proofs about “Human Soul and its Journey of Reincarnation” surfacing in internet and books are available. Scientists also confirmed that higher intelligent beings living in another dimensions (total of 11) unknown or invisible to us.

There is nothing call Coincidence or Deja Vu, everything is pre-planned and well-written.

Well, who sets this Karma path? It’s by US (Souls or Spirits) only directly or indirectly. The events in Universe are not a straight path but a cycle of repeated occurrences from time to time. It’s a foolish to think that we are the only people in the Universe who can control our own situations and rule whatever we wish.

In Astrology, we talk about Seven Planets (Orientals consider Rahu & Ketu while Occidental consider Uranus, Neptune & Pluto), 12 Zodiac Signs and 12 Houses in Horoscope in study to begin with Journey of Human since his Birth (Mark Lagna or Ascendant - the point on the ecliptic at which it intersects the eastern horizon at a particular time) to Death. Actually, it’s a cycle of 120 years based on the calculation of Vimshottari Dasha of Planets.

Let’s assume the role of Planets in the Creation of Earth:

SUN  – The King and ruler. Showers Light in the form of bright rays to keep us away from Dark.

MOON  – showers water and all kinds of liquid on earth to ease life.

MERCURY  – Builder and Construction Engineer.

MARS – infuse Energy in all living things and around the Planet to continue day-to-day activities.

VENUS – Decorator. Plans to set all the things in beautiful way like Plants, Livestock, etc.

SATURN – Laborer. Toils hard by following orders from other planets.

JUPITER – just enjoys the Creation. Organize Festivals and all kinds of Drama.

Does Astrology predict exact future? Here is Paradoxical. By analyzing one’s horoscope, we may know what will happen in future by considering past events, but cannot tell what exactly may happen because Karma interfere.

For example, Debilitated Jupiter in one’s horoscope leads to fracture or problems in Leg area (thighs, Knees & Ankles) in his Dasha or Bhukti. But we may not determine how exactly will happen whether person prone to accidents or involve in brawls or becomes sick. To some extent, we may predict absolutely in doing detail reading of chart and his past experiences.

How and When should Person consult an Astrologer?

Why there should be set of rules in approaching someone? Well, this is the conspiracy of nature and our own karmic deeds. Nature gives back in return what you gave to her in different ways.

Let’s say you are working in a company where the situation comes to confront your Boss on certain matters. Based upon your Boss mood, the outcome of results varies.

Similarly, while going to Astrologer for your Birth Chart reading, we have to follow certain rules to fulfill your wishes such as

a)    Should approach in the morning and also in twilight. Avoid afternoon and night times after lunch and dinner.

b)   Must give minimum amount of Money (or may be gifts) as Dakshina. Not to take anyone service for free, otherwise will fetch bad karma.

c)    Be calm and polite. Not to make too much questions in order to test Astrologer.

d)   Not to move too much of hands and legs at the time of asking for solutions.

e)    Person who wants to get their own horoscope reading, they should come personally not using other mediators.

Duties of an Astrologer:

a)    Must be spiritual and pray to god before giving service.

b)   Neat and clean.

c)    Should take few minutes time to give predictions in order to analyze whole horoscope properly.

d)   Must be frank and tell the truth about pros and cons of individuals without hurting or fearing them with proper remedies.

e)    Avoid consultation on phone as much as possible.

f)     Location chosen should be calm and peaceful, so not to have outer disturbances.

g)   Not to take unnecessary advantage of people in their predicament.

Transit of planets also play significant role in deciding our life events along with period & sub-period running into our lives.

Our scientist already noticed the influence of Moon in causing tidal waves & tornedos, similarly, influence of Mars in causing wars among countries while influence of retrograde Mercury in causing change in behavior of individuals. All these happen when planets are in proximity to our Earth.

When we don’t have answers or solutions scientifically, we then only resort to Astrologer, Numerologist, Palmist, etc. But Astrology is divine science not pseudo. We can prove the importance of Astrology through scientific theory by studying, just like scientists invest on studies for Time-travel, Astronomy, etc..

11)  Friends, Social Circle, Professional gains & Wish fulfillment

12)  Expenditure, Bad habits, isolated places & Foreign travels.
